(New) Brand Presets: Streamlining Your Competitive Analysis Workflow

(New) Brand Presets: Streamlining Your Competitive Analysis Workflow

June 9, 2025 Hugo Huijer

We've been listening. Over the past months, one feature request came up again and again in support conversations, user interviews, and feedback sessions: the ability to save and reuse brand combinations.

Today, we're excited to announce that Brand Presets are now live across all Trackerly accounts.

The problem we solved

Every time you opened a group report in Trackerly, you faced the same routine: manually entering the brands you wanted to track. Whether you were monitoring "Nike vs Adidas vs Puma" for a client or tracking "Tesla, Ford, BMW" for automotive insights, you had to type those brand names repeatedly.

This wasn't just inconvenient – it was eating into your analysis time and creating inconsistencies across reports.

What are Brand Presets?

Brand Presets let you save your favorite brand tracking configurations and apply them instantly to any group report. Think of them as shortcuts for your most important competitive analysis setups.

With Brand Presets, you can:

  • Save any brand combination with a custom name
  • Apply saved presets instantly with one click
  • Edit and manage your saved presets anytime
  • Reuse configurations across different time periods

How it works

Saving a Brand Preset:

  1. Set up your brands in any group report's Mentions section
  2. Click the new "Save Brands" button
  3. Give your preset a meaningful name (like "Sneaker Competition Analysis")
  4. Hit save – done

Loading a saved preset:

  1. Open any group report
  2. Click the "Load saved brands" dropdown
  3. Select your preset from the list
  4. Watch as all your brands populate instantly

Perfect for agency workflows

Brand Presets are particularly powerful for agencies managing multiple clients. You can create presets like:

  • "Client A - Competitors" for quick client reporting
  • "SaaS Tools Analysis" for software comparisons
  • "Luxury Fashion Houses" for fashion industry insights
  • "Q4 Holiday Retail" for seasonal campaign monitoring

Create presets that match your client needs and reporting workflows, then reuse them across every analysis.

Get started today

Brand Presets are available immediately in all group reports. Look for the new "Save Brands" and "Load saved brands" options at the bottom of the Mentions section.

We recommend starting by saving your 3-5 most common brand tracking scenarios. Most users find that having a few well-named presets covers 80% of their analysis needs.
